The Practical Usage of Bicycles

I love bikes. I would love to have a collection of all kinds of interesting bicycles. Since I don’t have the financial resources for that kind of hobby, nor do I have the time to invest, and I don’t have anyplace to store a bunch of bikes I decided to take another path. I’m collecting pictures of interesting bikes and their uses. Over the next few days I will try and post several pictures taken on a recent trip to Asia.

Born in Sin – Psychologists Discover Children Know How to Sin

Well OK, I don’t think they exactly called it “sin.” That would be expecting too much, but they did call it deceit and they said that children have learned how to do it by the age of six months. A recent article in the London Telegraph explains that after studying infants and interviewing parents some psychologists have concluded that infants learn seven different methods of deceit between the ages of 6 months and three-years-old. Live Earth Concerts

On 7/7/07 in locations around the world the religion of Global Warming will be holding services. The web site, www.liveearth.org, tries to deal with the obvious hypocrisy of the events, which is the amount of energy that will be expended in these concerts. “Look to the rock from which you were hewn”

The title of this post comes from Isaiah 51:1. It is God’s call for the spiritual remnant to reflect back on their origins and the kind of person from whom they descended and to remember the power of the God who created their nation. As we approach this anniversary of the United States we would do well to do the same thing.
