Ted Kennedy Endorses Barak Obama!!!!

January 30, 2008

Hot Dog!!! Now I know for whom I shall cast my vote. I worried and fretted and thought and couldn’t come up with a decision…But thanks to Senator Kennedy now I know for sure what I shall do.

I realize I’m no expert on these things but does anyone really consider these endorsements when they make their decision? I was reading an article recently that said that James Dobson was losing his political clout and his endorsements didn’t help as much as they used too. I don’t know if his endorsements ever mattered to anyone except the person he endorsed. That is no slam against Dr. Dobson by the way. I like the guy, but I never considered his endorsement of any political candidate to matter to me.

So are the talking heads that went on for hours about this Kennedy/Obama endorsement wasting their breathe with excitement about nothing? Does an endorsement by a politician, religious leader, or entertainer sway your opinion or vote at all?

Your Name on the Net

January 25, 2008

The other day I received an email from someone thanking me for my contribution to eschatology. This gentleman was appreciative of my insight into all things concerning the end of the world and particularly with my proclamation that President George Bush was indeed the antichrist. This wasn’t the first time someone had congratulated me on doing this study on the end times. The problem is, I never said George Bush was the antichrist, nor am I an expert on eschatology. Economic Stimulus and Borrowing from Olivia

January 24, 2008

Dear Olivia,I just wanted to let you know that your grandma and I will be borrowing some money from you. Don’t worry you won’t have to pay it back for quite some time. Anyway, it is only going to be $600.00. I know you don’t have $600.00 but your Uncle Sam is going to go ahead and front you the money and set you up with a loan at a low interest rate and you don’t have to worry about paying it back until you are a career woman. Green Bay Packs it In for 2007

January 21, 2008

I was quite disappointed with my Packers last night. I was absolutely convinced everything was in their favor for the NFC Championship game. They didn’t have to go to Dallas, where they never seem to be able to win. They were playing at home. It was bitterly cold and outside, which has historically been in their favor. They were playing some of their best football coming into this game. But alas they lost. Read the rest of this entry ?

Weather Forecast for Green Bay on Sunday

January 17, 2008

Just checked the weather forecast for Green Bay on Sunday at the Weather Channel. Looks like the high will be 6 and the low 2. Man that is really cold. It is supposed to be snowing today and tomorrow with flurries also on Sunday. Things are look like they are going the Packer’s way.

You Gotta Love The Cheese Heads

January 17, 2008

The Fox television station in Green Bay has decided to pull “Seinfeld” this weekend when the NY Giants are in town. Apparently Seinfeld is Eli Manning’s favorite TV program. While it is not likely to have any effect on the game or Manning (I’m sure he has the show on DVD if he wants to watch it that badly), it is humorous and nothing like having some fun in Packer land. GO PACK GO. You can see the FOX story here.

Barack Obama’s Church

January 16, 2008

Investor’s Business Daily has an editorial that ought to be read by those seriously considering Barack Obama as a Presidential candidate.  It makes one wonder why these issues are not more on the forefront and being questioned.  Mitt Romney was being hammered pretty hard on his Mormonism until his speech about religion and the Presidency, but Obama seems to be getting a pass.  Why?
