The NAUPA web site provides a way you can find your state’s system for finding unclaimed property. Millions of dollars sits waiting to be claimed. One woman in Oklahoma just found out she was a millionaire. She had inherited a lot of stock and didn’t realize it where it was. The Oklahoma State Treasurers Office tracked her down and she is thrilled. You can read her story here.

Just out of curiosity I did a search using my last name. I didn’t have any unclaimed property but one of my sons has a $45.00 tax rebate coming to him and my older brother has $100.00 on hold. Good for them.
