Who’s the cranky looking old fart in the picture? The guy in the blue hat.
I look a little odd in that picture because I had a horrible case of Poison Oak. I was swollen up everywhere and it was miserable. We were camping in the high country of Southwest Colorado and not a doctor or medicine in sight. We rode up on horseback, so there wasn’t much I could do but stick it out. I tried rubbing myself down with salt, which burned like crazy but didn’t help cure the pain and itch. Every morning I went down to the river stripped down and got into the water which was about 20%, something I would never do normally. But OH it felt so good. I need to swap out the pic but I thought I would use it for a while.
